Parasite
1)organisms which depends upon other organism for its nourishment and growth,known as parasite.
2) It has intracellular digestion.
3) It causes harm to the organism.
4) parasite feed on living organism.
Saprophyte
1) organism which grows on dead and decaying material for its growth, known as saprophyte.
2) It shows extracellular digestion.
3)It doesn't depend on living host
4) saprophyte doesn't feed on living organism.

SAPROPHYTES

➡ The organism which grows on dead and decaying material to grow is called as Saprophytes.

➡ It does not need any host for living.

➡ Digestion takes place outside the body
(Extracellular digestion takes place).

➡ For Ex : FUNGUS, MUSHROOM...ETC.

PARASITES

➡ Here, the organisms depends on other living organisms such as hosts for the growth.

➡ It requires a host for living and it also harms the organism in which it is present, but it doesn't kill the organism.

➡ Here, Intracellular digestion takes place.

➡ For Ex : MOSQUITO, LEECHES, CUSCUTA, TICKS, .....etc.
