Write any four places where ICT tools are used and observed their working. Write their advantages and disadvantages (any four).

ICT stands for Information Communication Technology. Four places where it is used are given below:

i) Computer: Multitasking is its advantage and virus and hacking attacks are disadvantage of it.  

ii) Internet: It has connected the whole world which is its major advantage. People spend a lot of time on internet instead of giving time to their family which is a disadvantage.

iii) Printer: It gives us material in convenient hard form which is good for us. It produces noise and carbon emissions which is its disadvantage.

iv) Scanners: It helps to convert hard data into soft. Impacts produced by scanners can take lot of memory space which is its major disadvantage.
