Write any four solutions of the equation 5x-6y =30.​

Answer:

the equation is

6x-6y =30

6(x-y) = 30      [taking 6 as common)

x-y = 30/6

x-y = 5

x= 5+y    .........(1)

Now,

let y =0

eqn (1) becomes

x=5+0

x=5                   [  first solution is (5,0) ]

when y=1

x=5+1

x=5+1

x=6                     [ second solution is (6,1) ]

when y= -1,

x=5-1

x=4                        [ third solution is (4, -1) ]

when y= -2

x=5-2

x=3                       [ fourth solution is (3, -2) ]

therefore, the solutions of the equation 5x-6y =30 are

(5,0), (6,1), (4, -1) and  (3, -2)  Ans.
