Uses of metals:
1.   Ornamentation: silver, gold and platinum are used to make jewellery.
2. Galvanizing: zinc metal is used for galvanizing iron to protect from rusting.
3. Mercury metal is used as thermometric liquid.
3. iron metal  is used to make nails, screws, nut , bolts, pipe, railings, industrial tools, railway lines, bridges,agricultural tools, transport vehicles etc.
4. Aluminium foils are used  for packaging medicines, chocolates and food items.
5. Iron, copper and Aluminium metals are used to make utensils and water boilers .
6. Copper metal is used for making electrical wires for house hold wiring, armature in electric motor .
