Camels are an important source of food in the desert.

People eat the meat of young camels, though it can be very tough.

They melt fat from the animal's hump and use it as butter.

People drink camel's milk and also make cheese from it.camel can carry loads on their backs.

They also carry you for a really long time.

it is very useful to move from one place to another in a desert.

it does not need more water because it stores water in its hump.

hence they call camels as the ship of the desert.
