While there is no one definitive answer to this questions because such depends on your own personal opinion and thoughts on the subject matter, I will say why I feel studying history is quite advantageous in its own right. For one, you can study the past and see how the world became the place it is today. Second, I’ve found the hackneyed adage, “The past often repeats itself,” to holds it merit on more than one occasion, as ideologies of both individuals and collective societies/nations often repeat patterns of recurring motives.
