1.the transfer of pollen grains from anther and their deposition on the stigma of the flower is known as pollination .
The joining of gametes together in order to produce an offspring is known as fertilization or in other words, fertilization is the fusion of female gametes and male gametes of the plants
2.Pollination is a physical process whereas fertilization is a biochemical process.
3.In pollination process, external agents are required.Whereas in fertilization process, pollen grains and the flower’s reproductive system are required
Fertilization occurs only after the successful process of pollination. In other words,Fertilization cannot occur without pollination . pollination will be useless if fertilization will not take place.
