In case of ideal solution interaction between solute-solvent particles remains same as that of solute-solute ans solvent-solvent particle interaction whereas in case of non ideal solution it either increases or decreases.
For example, acetone and chloroform form a non-ideal solution showing negative deviation from Raoult's law. A – B interactions are stronger than A – A and B – B interactions due to the formation of hydrogen bonds between the acetone and chloroform.
