1. He would need to know all the human dominant and recesive genes, and there are more in pea plants than in human. 2. he had an abundance of peas, and less humans to experament on. 3. (and biggest problem) humans take a lot longer to reproduce than peas (thats why he chose peas), not only that, but it takes awile for some genes to show up in people, so he would have had to wait for things like hair, hight, ect
