sterile filtration in the industry is the process in which we remove all of the microbes ( Bacteria, Fungi and other germs). In Non sterile filtration the process of sterilization is not used. to understand the non sterile filtration first we have to understand its difference from the sterile filtration. sterile filtration means removing all of the microbes that are harmful for our industrial product or not but in non sterile filtration all of the microbes are not killed. in case of pharmaceutical only pathogenic microbes are killed in non sterile filtration.

Three non sterile filters are listed below:

1. Non- Sterile IC Millex syringe filters with hydrophilic PTFE membrane (Ion Chromatography)

2. Non- Sterile Millex HPF Syringe Filters (Viscous Samples)

3. Whatman GD/X Syringe Filters ( Solution that are hard to filter)
