Answer:

Vedic maths is the stream of mathematics that is very easy to understand. The Vedic maths is based on the Vedas

Step-by-step explanation:

The various rules of Vedic Maths are as unďer :-

TRICK NO:1 Multiplying numbers by 5

Therefore we get, 8640248 x 5 = 43201240

Therefore we get, 6386 x 5 = 31930

Simply, consider the given number to be ‘A’

Therefore, A X 5 = A X 10/2

which is again = A/2 X 10

TRICK NO:2 Multiplying any number by 11

TRICK NO:3 [T20:20] * Applied when both the numbers are more than 10 and less than 20.

For e.g. 13 x 16

Step I : Sum of first number and last digit of second number or, last digit of first number and second number.

Step II : Answer of Step I x 10

Step III : Multiply last digit of both the numbers.

Step IV : Add the solutions of Step II and Step III.

Therefore we get, 13 x 16 = 208.

TRICK NO:4 [X + T10] * Applicable when sum of last digit of both the numbers gives 10, and first digit of both the numbers are same.

Step I: Multiply last digit of both the numbers.

Step II: Multiply the first digit of both the numbers with the digit that comes after that i.e., 7 comes after 6 so 6x7 in the above case.

Therefore we get, 63 x 67 = 4221.

Answer:

Gyarasguna Sutra

In this method, numbers can be easily multiplied by 11. “Gyarasguna word split into three words .

Nikhilam Sutra

In this method, Numbers can be multiplied which are close to the power of 10.

Ekanunena Purneva Sutra

In this method, numbers can be multiplied in which one of the number is multiplied by 9, 99, 999 …….

Step-by-step explanation:

Nikhilam Sutra

In this method, Numbers can be multiplied which are close to the power of 10.

Gyarasguna Sutra

In this method, numbers can be easily multiplied by 11. “Gyarasguna word split into three words . Gyara mean 11, guna mean Multiplication and Sutra mean method.

write non 11 number twice

Add “0” to one of the number

Add both the numbers.

Ekanunena Purneva Sutra

In this method, numbers can be multiplied in which one of the number is multiplied by 9, 99, 999 …….

First, subtract 1 from 11, then subtract the resulting number from 99 or 999.

Antyaordasake Pi.

In this method, Multiplication can be done as follows –

Example –

(1) 42 x 48

First Number = 42

Second number = 48

Add 1 to the first digit of the second number –

= 4 + 1 = 5.

Now Multiply first digits of both numbers

4 x 5 = 20 .

Now, Multiply second digits of both numbers

2 x 8 = 16.

So, 42 x 48 = 2016

Navamguna Sutra

In this method, Multiplication can be done as follows –

Example –

(1) 42 x 9

42 (10-1)

42 x 10 – 42 x 1

420 – 42 = 378.

So, 42 x 9 = 378.
