Let the numbers be, a,a+1,a+2

Arithmetic Mean =a+a+1+a+2/3

=3a+3/3

=a+1

Here, the arithmetic mean is the (a+1) number

Take the two digit numbers as: 30,31,32

AM=frac30+31+32/3

=933/3

=31

So, 31 is one of the number in those.

Already,we know that the AM is a+1

and it is 30 (middle term)

=> a+1 = 30

Therefore, the arithmetic mean is one of those numbers or not.
