Two causes of decrease the efficiency of a machine

Explanation:

Efficiency is the percent of work put into a machine by the user(input work) that becomes work done by the machine(output work). It is a measure of how well a machine reduces friction.

Causes:

*The two cases to decrease the efficiency of machine are friction produced in the machine and the tightness of the parts of the machine and also heat generated by the work done by the machine.

*The efficiency of the machine is reduced by the friction ,as work is done when a force causes an object to move in the same direction that the force is applied.Friction reduces efficiency because when two surfaces slide past each other, friction resists their motion, and in real machines, some input work is always used to overcome frictions.

Therefore, the causes of decrease in the efficiency of the machine are friction produced in the machine, the tightness of the parts of the machine ,and heat generated by the work done by the machine.
