it is highly specific in nature. the gas which reacts with adsorbent will show chemisorption.
high temperature is favourable for chemisorption.it increases with increasing of temperature.

In chemisorption, the gas molecules or atoms are held to the solid surface by chemical bonds which can be a covalent bond or Ionic bond in nature.
Chemisorptions is not reversible in nature because a surface compound is formed due to chemical interaction between the gas molecule & solid surface.
