• Photochemical smog is a mixture of chemical components. Photochemical smog formed mainly in Industrial areas.

• Photochemical smog mainly composed of Volatile Organic Compounds.

• This smog is formed because of air pollution. Air is polluted with gases and pollutants that form smog.

• Nitrous oxide is emitted from the explosion of fissile fuels. Nitrous oxide goes through a complex series of reactions with hydrocarbons to produce chemical components of smog.

This is called photochemical smog.
