Green revolution needs a lot of chemical fertilizers and pesticides to be sprinkled on the crops. These fertilizers are easy to dissolved in the soil which leads to the loss of soil fertility.

Green revolution uses lots of natural resources such as soil and water. Resources deplets on the faster speed than it replenishes.
