Answer:

Chloroplasts:

1) They are the chlorophyll-containing plastids which impart green colour to plants.

2) Chloroplasts take part in photosynthesis.

3) Chloroplasts may change to chromoplasts (during ripening of fruits).

Chromoplasts:

1) They are the most colourful plastids.

2) Chromoplasts don't take part in the process of food making in plants.

3) For example Carotenoids impart red and orange colour to a plant. The role of chromoplasts is to attract insects such as bees for pollination and other reproductive cycles.
