The important effects of heat on an object are listed below:

1) Raises the temperature.

2) Increases volume.

3) Changes state.

4) Brings about chemical action.

5) Changes physical properties.

IT IS MORE THAN TWO EFFECTS

HOPE IT HELPS U

Effects of heat are as follows -

  • Temperature increase : Due to heat application the particles of an object moves at a higher speed and the kinetic energy increases. This increase in the kinetic energy also increases the temperature of the of object. Temperature increase is one of the most commonly (and obvious) observed effect of heat.
  • Change of state : Due to heat application (to required amount), change of physical states of an object is also observed. By the heat application (to required amount) a solid can change into liquid and a liquid can change into gas. Eg. By applying heat, solid ice changes into liquid water and liquid water further changes into gaseous water vapour.

(Thermal expansion is another important effect of heat.)
