These are the two factors for which hybridization is carried out:

- Basically hybridization is a process of crossing over two different traits to produce a new one which is better in terms of everything. For example, a cross between two plants; one is good in seed production and the other has a better tolerance against salting, will produce a new plant which is better in resisting salting and produce more seeds.

- Hybridization results in better production and more numbers. It can have a positive impact on our economics.
