There are tons and tons and tons of features for Microsoft PowerPoint, and if I were to list them all here, I’d probably end up writing a book. But I’ll go over a few of my favorites down below:

Shapes - shapes alone are cool, but the combination of shapes can make something really awesome. A lot of people tend to position a variety of shapes in a specific way to form a unique illustration. That illustration could be an infographic, a slide layout, or even an icon.

Positioning - I like how PowerPoint has various positioning features, such as the grid and guidelines, or the arrangement tools. They allow the different elements on your PowerPoint slide be spread out evenly.

Font, color and white space - PowerPoint has a way for you to uniquely design the elements on your slide by allowing you to choose a strong design combination for whatever you’d like

Now, let’s be clear about something. PowerPoint is not about what features it has, but it is about how we have to use these features. It’s important for us, as communicators, to really bring everything together in a way that enhances our message to our audience.
