Once upon a time, there was a very bad hunter. One day he was so unlucky that he could not even get get a little bird. One small kind bird saw him and gave him a feather and told him to cook it. The bird was actually a fairy in disguise. When his wife saw him back with the feather, she was was very angry with him. When the man told her about the bird, she said "Silly, you should kill the bird so that we can cook and eat her."But the hunter was adamant. The hunter put the feather into the pot, and magically, a meal appeared in it's place. The wife said "Kill her, so that we can take how many feathers we want in a day. But the man refused. The next day the woman saw the red bird and killed it herself. But the fairy's feather worked only when it was alive.
Moral: Never be greedy.
