Impact 1: Literacy rate among women is lesser than that of men because family members decide to invest more resources for the male child's education and thus neglecting the girl child.
Impact 2: Their presence in high-paid jobs are less than men even though being equally talented.
Impact 3: Their presence in govt. bodies is also less. The bill regarding reservation of seats for women in the lok sabha is still pending.
Impact 2 and Impact 3 can also be grouped together to give a single point - "Lesser social and political presence".
