Bhagwad Gita was Told by Lord Krishna to Arjuna to differentiate between the right and the wrong. Bhagavad Gita is a 700 verse epic divided into 18 chapters.

• Slokha 1:

देहिनोऽस्मिन्यथा देहे कौमारं यौवनं जरा।

तथा देहान्तरप्राप्तिर्धीरस्तत्र न मुह्यति॥

• Meaning of Slokha 1:

Just as the embodied soul in this body attains childhood, youth and old age, similarly another body is attained. The wise man is not confused in this.

• Slokha 2:

वासांसि जीर्णानि यथा विहाय

नवानि गृह्णाति नरोऽपराणि।

तथा शरीराणि विहाय जीर्णा-

न्यन्यानि संयाति नवानि देही॥

• Meaning of slokha 2:

As a man takes off his old clothes and puts on new clothes,  Similarly, the soul leaves its old bodies and enters new bodies.
