However, man has been harming this beautiful environment in
the name of industrialization and urbanization. He has been cutting trees and
trees in millions of acres of forests; he has installed manufacturing units on
the banks of life-giving rivers; these manufacturing monsters spew toxic smoke
into the atmosphere whose air all humans and animals breathe.
In his greed to earn more profit man omits to treat the toxic
effluents before releasing them into rivers, lakes, oceans, etc.; he ignores
the most important fact of preserving the purity of environment.
All of us need to make environmental preservation our first priority,
only then will we be able to restore it.
Lastly, we must modify our developmental strategies. We must ensure no damage to the environment while modifying or using the natural resources. We must adopt the principles of sustainable development. Only then will we be able to save the environment and our own existence.

India is a tourist's paradise on earth, with its magical beauty, riot of colours and diverse cultures. It is a country that is surrounded by three gigantic water bodies on three sides, the Bay of Bengal in the east, the Indian Ocean in the south and the Arabian Ocean in the west. In the north, the majestic hills stand erect like a crown atop an emperor.
The north-eastern part of India is home to the One-horned Rhino as much as it is graced by Majuli, the biggest river island in the world. The Sunderbans in the east is abode to the Royal Bengal Tiger, just as it is among the biggest mangrove forests in the world. Odisha's temples and sea beaches add colour and beauty that wins many a tourist's heart. Nalanda and Bodhgaya are the seats of Buddhism. Darjeeling and Shillong are among the oldest hill stations in India.
In the west, the Gir sanctuary in Gujarat houses lions, the king of the forest. Temples at Somnath and Dwarka attract tourists in hordes. The deserts and palaces of Rajasthan add breathtaking colour and variety to a nation that prides itself in being united in diversity.
Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir are shining pearls of northern India. Agra is the go-to place for the mesmerising beauty of Taj Mahal. A lot of beautiful architectural buildings, tombs, mosques and monuments dot Delhi and its surroundings.

A tourist coming to India from overseas can hope for plenty of surprises and will be spoilt for choice just as much as a domestic tourist will be walking into a dream each time he or she explores a new territory.

The major social issues of our time are two, inextricably linked, population growth and distribution of wealth among that growing population. The growth of population has driven environmental change and the troubles in the Middle East. The perception by the growing population that wealth is distributed unequally, either by corruption, accident of birth or unfair use of force encourages people to demand change, which can lead in any number of unpleasant directions. Population growth, even though slowing in some parts of the world, is encouraged in others and drives any number of movements by people who want a better life for their children.

Mobiles have become a source of major distractions for the
students. Young boys and girls seem to have become inordinately addicted to
these sites. They are thoughtlessly and uselessly wasting their precious time
on these useless sites.
Are we heading to only Facebook and Twitter
perfection? Where are the objectives of attaining the status of the advanced
country? There are so many challenges that we as well as the nation face.
Challenges such as population, mismanagement of our natural resources, poverty,
unemployment, corruption, pollution, etc.
The other major disadvantage of the increasing use of such
networking sites is the spread of obscenity. The parents, teachers and the government must look into the problems
being caused by mobiles and these networking sites and must formulate a
strategy either to curb or completely stop its fast growing negative influence
on the minds of our youth. Our youth is the future of our nation. We cannot
allow this youth to waste their precious time on mobiles doing the Facebook.
Hope helps...
Answer:
1. Environmental Degradation
The deterioration of the environment by natural or human forces is known as environmental degradation. Natural happenings like heavy rain, floods, storms, earthquakes, volcanoes etc. are not under human control and they play havoc with environment time to time by making the land unfit lor cultivation. Here man is helpless.
He can do nothing except to see the havoc. But when man himself plays a vital role in degrading the environment in which he lives, and then the problem becomes more serious.
Needless to say that environmental degradation is one of the major global issues. The overuse of resources is it land or water and the industrialisation process are the major causes of this phenomenon. Man has been felling the tress for his various purposes.
