Answer :-

Area = 114 cm^2

Perimeter = 27 cm^2

To find the side AB

(By pythagoras theorem)

IN TRIANGLE AOB,

:- AO^2 + 0B^2 = AB^2

:- 12^2 + 12^2 = AB^2

:- 144 + 144 = AB^2

:- 288 = AB^2

:- √288 = AB

:- 17 = AB (Approxx) (Exact = 16.9705627)

Now,

Area of shaded semi- circle

Diameter = 17 cm

Radius = Diameter / 2

= 17 /2

= 8.5

Area of Circle = π r^2

Area of semi-circle = 1/2 π r^2

Area of Semi- circle

= 1/2 π r^2

= 1\2×22/7×8.5^2

= 113.535714

= 114 cm^2 ( approx )

Area of shaded figure is 114 cm^2.

Perimeter of semi-circle = πr

= 22/7 ×8.5

= 26.7142857

= 27 cm^2 (approx)

NOTE :- All are approximate values.
