(a) Stomata
Stomata are the tiny pores present on the surface of the leaves.
Their main function is taken in and out various gases such as oxygen and carbon dioxide for breathing and photosynthesis. It also helps to leave out excessive water content during transpiration.
(b) Heart
The heart is a muscle which is the main part of the circulatory system.
The main function of the heart is to pump blood. It pumps oxygenated blood throughout the body and pumps deoxygenated blood to the lungs.
(c) Urinary Bladder
The urinary bladder is an elastic organ which is part of the excretory system.
The main function of the urinary bladder is to store the urine produced by the kidney for a certain period of time before pássing it out of the urethra. The urinary bladder can hold upto 300 - 350 ml of urine.
(d) Blood
The blood is a connective tissue which contains various blood cells. It is a part of the circulatory system.
The main function of the blood is to páss nutrients and minerals to all parts of the body and to collect waste materials from all these parts and páss them to respective excretory organs.
(e) Ureter
The ureter is a tube like structure which is a part of the excretory system. As there are two kidneys, there are also two ureters.
The main function of the ureters is to páss the urine produced by the two kidneys to the urinary bladder.
(f) Xylem
Xylem is a complex permanent tissue present inside the plant. It is a dead tissue.
The main function of the xylem is to transport water, minerals and nutrients from the roots to the leaves for photosynthesis. This transportation in the upward manner is known as ascent of sap.
