The solar system has 9 ( including a dwarf planet) planets. They are-

1. Mercury - It is an innermost planet of the solar system. It is the swiftest planet in the solar system.
2. Venus - It is also called as " Earth's Twin" ( because of almost equal size to the earth) . It is also called Morning and Evening star.
3. Earth - It is called as Blue Planet. It is the only known planet where life exists. It is the densest Planet of our solar system.
4. Mars - It is also called as Red Planet. It has some probability of life.
5. Jupiter - It is the largest planet of the solar system. It has a Great Red spot on it.
6. Saturn - It is also called as the Planet of Rings. It is the second largest planet in the solar system.
7. Uranus - It is an ice- giant. It is tilted 90° which makes it to look as if it is Rolling rather than Spinning.
8. Neptune - It is also an ice- giant. It is the Outermost Planet of the solar system.
9. Pluto - It is a Dwarf planet. It is not considered as a dwarf planet because it doesn't has it's own orbit.
