1) When carbon is burned in air, it forms carbon dioxide gas and releases a large amount of heat and some light:

C + O2 → CO2 + Heat + Light

2) When green copper carbonate is heated, it decomposes forming copper oxide & Carbon dioxide .

3) Zinc reacts with dilute HCl to form zinc chloride and hydrogen gas.

4) The product formed when AgNO3 reacts with NaCl is AgCl and NaNO3. So, we can write the equation:
