Robert Frost was an American poet who won four Pulitzer prizes for poetry during his lifetime. His poems were primarily centered around rural life settings in New England. Frost also wrote a few plays. His first poem was published in his high school’s magazine. Although he did various jobs before becoming a poet, he did not enjoy them as much as he loved writing poetry.

Mulk Raj Anand was an Indian writer who wrote in English. He was known for his short stories that focused on the lives of the poorer castes residing in the traditional Indian society. Anand was closely associated with communism, the influence of which can be seen in his novels. He was a proud recipient of Padma Bhushan award.
