Polymer Polytetrafluroethene-:
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a synthetic polymer that is widely used as a non-stick surface in cookware. It is also used in self-cleaning ovens and as a coating on heat lamp bulbs. Heated to high temperatures (≥280°C or greater) PTFE releases toxic pyrolysis products that can cause rapid death of birds.
Polythene-:
Polyethylene or polythene (abbreviated PE; IUPAC name polyethene or poly(methylene)) is the most common plastic in use today. It is a polymer, primarily used for packaging (plastic bags, plastic films, geomembranes, containers including bottles, etc.).
Nylon 6 -:
Nylon 6 fibres are tough, possessing high tensile strength, as well as elasticity and lustre. They are wrinkleproof and highly resistant to abrasion and chemicals such as acids and alkalis. The fibres can absorb up to 2.4% of water, although this lowers tensile strength.
Terylene-:
Terylene is a synthetic polyester fibre produced by polymerizing ethylene glycol and terephthelic acid which is obtained from petroleum.
