Myopia is a defect of eye in which a human is not able to see distinct objects clear but can see nearby objects clearly. In this defect, the image is formed infront of the retina.

This defect arises due to elongation of eyeball and decrease focal length of the eye lens.

This defect can be correct by using spectacles of concave lens of suitable power.
