Answer:
Age at marriage, educational status, family type, present age, and preference for male child were the most important determinants that affected fertility in the population. Age at menarche, age at first conception, occupation, per capita annual income, and birth control measure did not affect fertility in this population.
Fertility factors are determinants of the number of children that an individual is likely to have. Fertility factors are mostly positive or negative correlations without certain causations.
Factors generally associated with increased fertility include the intention to have children, in advanced societies : very high gender equality, religiosity , intergenerational transmission of values, marriage and war, maternal and social support , rural residence, family government programs, low IQ. and increased agriculture.
Factors generally associated with decreased fertility include rising income, value and attitude changes, education, female labour participation, population control, age, contraception, partner reluctance to having children, very low level of gender equality, pollution, and obesity.
