Answer: The three R's – reduce, reuse and recycle – all help to cut down on the amount of waste we throw away. They conserve natural resources, landfill space and energy. Plus, the three R's save land and money communities must use to dispose of waste in landfills.
There are various sources of waste are :-
⇒ Organic domestic waste :- These include faecal matter and other domestic waste. They create favourable condition for the growth of microbes.
⇒ Uncollected solid waste :- These include kitchen and household waste. They can result in the formation of breeding ground of microbes.
⇒ Toxic waste:- These waste is released by chemical plant and industries. Toxic waste include acid , oil, dyes etc.
⇒ Hospital waste :- These waste are generated in hospital such as discarded spyringe needles, bandage, plaster.
⇒ Radioactive waste :- They are basically and output from the nuclear power plants.
