Griffin is a brilliant scientist. Yet he uses his brilliance in illegal activities. He is doing research on human body can how become invisible. Then he invents a drug which could make the human body invisible. He can use his invention for some good cause but he makes bad use of his invention. He firstly appears to two boys in London in his invisible form. Then he goes to a theatre company where he wears false nose, bandages, a long hat, etc. Then he goes to a big store. He waits for the store to be closed. After closement of the store he slips into the store. He stays there till next morning. Here he eats some snacks and drinks wine and sleeps on a pile of quilts. Next morning he leaves for the village if iping. There he takes a room on rent. One day landlord found the Griffin's room door open. He checks and found nobody. After so much mishappenings, one day landlord calls upon jaffers, a police constable, to catch Griffin. But the constable is unable to catch him. Finally Griffin gives some unseen blows to jaffers and escapes from there.
