Balanced equation of the 3 reactions
Explanation:
(a)
2C(s) + O2(g) → 2CO(g)
Carbon, as graphite, burns to form gaseous carbon monoxide.
(b)
H2 + Cl2 → 2HCl
Hydrogen reacts with chlorine to produce hydrogen chloride.
(c)
BaCl₂ + Na₂SO₄ → BaSO₄↓ + 2NaCl.
Barium chloride reacts with liquid sodium sulphate to leave barium sulphate as a precipitate and also forms liquid sodium chloride.
