write chemical reaction for the following:-
1. when magnesium is burned and ashes are dissolved in water.
2. Aluminium reacting with hydrochloric acid
3. zinc and copper sulphate​

  1. Magnesium hydroxide is a base. Magnesium oxide is a new substance formed on burning of magnesium. Magnesium hydroxide is another new substance formed by mixing magnesium oxide with water. Hence it is a chemical change.
  2. The re­ac­tion be­tween metal­lic alu­minum and hy­drochlo­ric acid is what is known as an ox­i­da­tion-re­duc­tion re­ac­tion or redox reaction. Both oxidation and reduction take place simultaneously.
  3. The reaction of zinc with copper sulphate can be written as: Zn+CuSO4→ZnSO4+Cu.
