As the bricks are assembled to make a building in the same way the cells are assembled to make the complete body of an organism.A single cell is capable to function all the functions of our body.It is surrounded by a plasma membrane and has nucleus and many cell organelles in its cytoplasm like mitochondria which is the Power House of a cell etc.
