History should not be a part of main subjects. I oppose this because not everybody wants to become a historian or something like that. Infact, stats show that history is the most disliked subject by the students. Actually, I'm in favour of the type of education system where the student has right over which subject to choose right from the high school level, unlike every other school in India.
