Dear diary,

It was a nice summer morning and the pollen count was very low . A perfect day to relax out with the near and dear ones . I called my dad and asked him bout his tour . He told me that he will be back on Friday . I asked him that can I , my girlfriend Emma , my best friends and their girlfriends go on a trip for 5 days somewhere . He said okay and I jumped with joy . I texted in the group chat and after that they came to my place . I was really excited cuz it was the first time i would be spending some time with my Emma . Everyone gave their views on it but the place selected was Virginia . Virginia is the best place to go for summer as you get to see those beautiful mountains , the weather is cool , the magnificent waterfalls , the Flower Festival . Finally tomorrow at 4:00 A.M. We left for Virginia . Everyone got their own car and sat with their girlfriends . I asked Emma to check the pollen count cuz i was allergic to the flowers and stuff . She said it was normal but it was expected to be high later . I gave a sigh of relief and after travelling for like 3 hours she said Lemme drive Charlie , your arms might be hurting . I said no I am fine but she didn't listen and took on the steering wheel . Finally we reached there the hotel " Le Meridian " and got of the car . I went to the reception and saw my friends over there . We took the swipe keys and went in the room . Emma went in the bathroom to dress up in usual outfit and i waited for her on the bed . When she came back she saw me snoring on the bed . She thought i was definitely tired so she wrapped me with covers and went out with her friends . Later on when she returned she saw that i was awake and my friends were also there . So she asked us bout the plan . We are goin to see the waterfall . We reached the waterfall and she said that i am not sure bout the water that it is warm or cold . Without speaking a word all of us just dived in . But after sometime we started feeling cold and i moved close to my girlfriend . She rubbed me to make me warm and then we took our towel and got dressed up . My friends and i went for the firewood while the girls got some marshmallows from the car . We got the firewood and we lit the fire . Bit after sometime I started sneezing . Emma sat next to me by the log and gave me some tissues . I blew my nose but the sneezes were not gone . Finally we went back to the hotel and dozed off to sleep . Next morning she woke me up but i was feeling really sick . As she touched my forehead gently she thought it was warm but i said it is alright . We went to the ballroom for the dance and some food . After dancing on a romantic theme we went to our places for the meal . Hot sweats were pouring down my head and hands . She noticed me and told me to go back to the room . She grabbed my hand and took me to bed . Then she went in the kitchen and made some Chicken Noodle Soup for me . She fed me that but i sneezed it all over her . She got that i was down with a bad cold and also a fever . She took my temperature and made me sleep in her cozy arms . It was 5 when i woke up and saw her awake . She was praying to God to make my health better . 4 days she cancelled everything and took care of me . She is the best girlfriend anyone would ever get . I am grateful to have her in my life . Then we came back and she told everybody the incident and everybody laughs at me cuz i caught a cold from the waterfalls.
