Dear Diary

Today I am glad I read a story called another woman one of the best story I have read. The story begins with protagonist. The story is very interesting one of the message oriented story.

The poem begins with the Protagonist going shopping for her family's customary groceries. She selects the freshest bunch of'methi' from the market. She then takes a radish in her hand, contemplating the sweet and sour sensations it would produce in her mouth if she ate it. But then she snaps back to reality and tosses the radish aside, realising that the money she possesses isn't hers. It's her husband's family's money, therefore she wouldn't be able to spend it anyway she pleased. Her spending could hardly be excessive. So she left 1) for home after carefully counting her cash and wrapping them into a bundle in her sari. Her Mother-in-gloomy Law's stares greet her as soon as she enters the house. Not just rage, but genuine hatred. The Protagonist keeps working despite receiving no response. She sliced and cut the'methi' she had purchased, staining her hands yellow from the juice. She chopped an onion finely and boiled it in a pot on the stove with salt and cumin seeds, covering her face from the heat.
