Dear Diary,

I am so sad today. It was a day of disachievements and unsuccess. Our school hosted the Essay writing competition. I was initially hesitant to give my name. My teachers encouraged and motivated me. They told me that I have the ability to write well and to convince others. I am glad that I obeyed them. I didn't won the First prize in the essay writing competition. There were only 7 participants but I was not able to bag the prize. I am really sorry for that. But I promise that I will work hard and win the prize next time.
