In Aerobic respiration oxygen is used while, in the Inaerobic respiration oxygen is not used.

In humans, the pair of lungs is designed in such a way that they are lined by thin membrane , the smaller tube called bronchioles , a balloon like structure is called aveoli and network of blood capillaries increase the surface area for exchange gases.
