There is a subtle difference between communalism and casteism.

Communalism relates to the idea of political and ethnic problems that create terrorism and violence in a territory.

At the same time, with the whole idea of casteism coming largely into a country like India, problems do arise between different castes and classes which ultimately lead to a damage to national integration.
