The amount of space between two points, measured along the minimum path which connects them, is called displacement. Distance is nothing but the length of the total route travelled by the object during motion. ... Unlike displacement which is a vector measure and takes into account both magnitude and direction.

heres ur answer hope it helps yaa boo!

ashu3947: u can write in points by understanding girl!

Displacement :

  • It is the shortest distance between initial and final position of an object.

  • The rate of change of Displacement is Velocity.

  • Displacement of an object is constant.

Distance :

  • It is the actual distance travelled by an object.

  • The rate of change of distance is Speed.

  • Distance of an object may vary.

Hope it helps ✌️

rock4064: it's good but a little bit change can we apply in this question you tell about the unit of distance and displacement
Bhavyanayak: The units are same no..so I didn't mention them
rock4064: the SI units are different of distance andt please check in your book
Bhavyanayak: Can you please state them?
Bhavyanayak: Both the SI units are Metres no?
rock4064: it's metre but when we use it in equations the difference between them are of their power diatance ms ki power minus 1 and diaplacement has ms ki power minus 2
rock4064: but you're answer is also sufficient for exam
rock4064: your photo is nice which you placed on your ifld
Bhavyanayak: thanks
rock4064: it's my pleasure
