HCl gas:- simply gas which will not show acidic property like turning blue litmus to red as it is not in aqueous sol.so it will not produce H+ion or hydronium ion which is basic for acidic property
HCl Sol:- it means solution of HCl and water often called aqueous sol.this will show acidic property of turning blue litmus to red as in aqueous sol.they will produce H+ion or hydronium ion which is basic for acidic property.
