Work :-

1. Energy associated = Mechanical energy

2. Work done = Force / Displacement.

3. Requires physical force 

Heat :-

1. Energy associated = Thermal energy

2. Heat = Temperature variance 

3. Requires chemical force.

Difference between Heat and work

Work:-

In heat Macroscopic pushes and pulls.
In work are Interaction Mechanical.
A system is in mechanical equilibrium when there is no net force or torque on it.



Heat :-

•In work Microscopic collisions.
•In heat Interaction are Thermal.
•A  system is in thermal equilibrium when it is at the same temperature as the environment.
