Inorganic catalyst mechanism is different from bio catalyst mechanism. Solid inorganic catalyst works on adsorption theory without changing its formula or oxidation state example charcoal. Transition metal catalyst works by taking part in the reaction by changing its oxidation state and returning back to initial oxidation state which makes us realise that they do not take part in reaction example manganese. But, biocatalyst works on lock and key method where the substrate attaches with the biocatalyst at a certain site, changes its shape and form enzyme substrate complex which then breaks to form the initial enzyme and final product.
