Answer:

Metals are hard, strong and shiny in appearance but minerals are not soft, weak, and dull in appearance. Metalloids are both metals and non metals. Which means, they have the properties of both metals and non metals.

Hope this helps you...

Answer:

Hey mate

here's ur answer

there are many differences and u can write as per your requirements

metals are generally solid at room temperature example iron calcium potassium aluminium and copper etc

metals are generally good conductor of heat and electricity.

most metals ductility and malleability

metals are generally less stress and have a highly polished surface they are generally hard.

metals are sonorous metal usually have high density

most metal have high melting and boiling point .

tungsten has a highest melting point

non metals are found in all three state of matter

solid state : carbon, sulphur Phosphorus and Iodine

liquid states : bromine

gaseous state: Nitrogen , Oxygen chlorine .

non metals are generally poor conductor of electricity.

metals are neither ductile nor malleable.

they are brittle By Nature , they form powdery mass is bitten by a hammer.

they are non lustrous and have a dull appearance

they are generally soft.

non metals are not sonorous.

non-metals are usually less denser than metals.

mettaloids are chemical elements which has properties in between, or the mixture of, those of metals and non metals

hope it helps u
