Write difference between non-verbal communication and visual communications
Answers
Visual communication: Any communication that can be perceived by your eyes. Any visual signals, like gestures, facial expressions, but also a traffic light or a sign post.
Non-verbal communication is any communication that does not work with words. A lot of non-verbal communication is also visual communication, like the traffic light or the body language. The sign post could be considered verbal communication if it has words on it, though one might argue that only spoken words are truly verbal communication, and the sign post is written communication.
A grunt is non-verbal communication, or a yell, but it is not visual communication. Same for smells, through which a lot of animals communicate, for example by marking their territories.
You can see that a lot of visual communication can also be non-verbal, but not all non-verbal communication is visual.
