rivers of North India originate in the snow covered high altitude areas of the Himalayan ranges .they carry sufficient water throughout the year and are called perennial river .in contrast the rivers of the Peninsular India are seasonal they carry no or very little water in the dry summer season and no water in the winter season .they carry water in the rainy season when there are frequent rains .please mark me as brainlest if it help
